God’s Promises Bring Hope
Hebrews 6

“13 For example, there was God’s promise to Abraham. Since there was no one greater to swear by, God took an oath in his own name, saying:

14 “I will certainly bless you, and I will multiply your descendants beyond number.”

15 Then Abraham waited patiently, and he received what God had promised.

16 Now when people take an oath, they call on someone greater than themselves to hold them to it. And without any question that oath is binding. 17 God also bound himself with an oath, so that those who received the promise could be perfectly sure that he would never change his mind.

18 So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us.

19 This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.”

The Lord has many promises that match those things you’re hoping for!  I’ll help you find them!
Therefore, get an inventory of your hopes, in a piece of paper make the list; I emphasize in a paper because I want you to find out for yourself what God says in His Word in regards to your hope, what does He promises about it.

There are several ways to find what the Lord says in His Word about your hopes, here are two of those.  A great resource for me has been, “Where to Find it in the Bible from A to Z” from K. Anderson[1].  You can lend it from our Church’s Library or your Public Library at no cost to you.  But this great resource is a keeper, and since first published many years ago, has been updated with several new editions.  And better yet is the fact that I’ve seen it for sale even at the Dollar General stores.  The link with the picture is from Amazon where you can also purchase it.  If you prefer an online resource, you can access “Blue Letter Bible”[2], which is another great resource. This one will give you tons of information including study of independent words, and subjects as well.

So now, it’s your turn… get to work with your list, and if you need my help, let me know.

Be blessed in Jesus name, AMEN!!!
