9 GOD showed how much HE loved us BY SENDING HIS ONE AND ONLY SON into the world so that we might have ETERNAL LIFE through HIM. 10 This is real love, not that we loved GOD, but that HE loved us and sent HIS Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.
11 Dear friends, since GOD loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other….
13 And GOD has given us HIS SPIRIT as proof that we live in HIM and HE in us. 14 Furthermore, we have seen with our own eyes and now testify that The Father sent HIS Son to be the Savior of the world.”
Today as we celebrate Christmas, let us NOT FORGET and teach
our children about the TRUE reason for this season, JESUS, THE GREATEST GIFT to humanity. Remember, if you do not teach them TO LOVE JESUS, the world will
teach them to hate HIM.
Can you imagine what would had happened if JESUS would have
not come? This question makes me think how terrible would be for me having to
get and handle all kind of creatures every so often to be taken as a sacrifice,
and even worst if I myself would have to make any blood sacrifices…yeak!!! Just because of this, and not thinking about nothing else, I PRAISE GOD for sending me JESUS!
This GREAT GIFT
is surely to be praised therefore
since we’ve been given the example on how to love, let us LOVE like HE did! And
in case you have not gotten HIS Holy Spirit this would be a great time to ask for
that proof, ask HIM to baptize you with the HOLY SPIRIT it will be confirmation
needed that we belong to HIM. The HOLY
SPIRIT will empower you to be a stronger witness for HIM. In John 14:26 we have
JESUS saying: “But The Advocate, THE HOLY SPIRIT, whom The Father
will send in MY name, WILL
TEACH you all things and WILL REMIND you of everything I have
said to you.”
Then
the promise was given, in the chapter one of the book of Acts, JESUS says: “4 Do not leave Jerusalem, but WAIT for the GIFT My Father promised,
which you have heard ME speak about. 5 For John baptized with water, but in a few days you
will be BAPTIZED with The Holy Spirit…. 8 But you will receive POWER when THE HOLY SPIRIT
comes on you; and you will
be my witnesses in Jerusalem,
and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” And then, IT HAPPENED! (Acts 2:1-4) “When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and BEGAN TO SPEAK IN OTHER TONGUE as the Spirit enabled them.”
My prayer for you today is that you
remember THE REASON for this season, celebrate HIM who created us, and sent the
ransom for our sins, AND that you accept the confirmation given to us by
receiving The Baptism in the Holy Spirit, and I pray that for the glory of God
in JESUS name, AMEN!
Now, because you believe, RECEIVE THE BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
