In order to know when things are
being done in obedience there has to be an established standard; then whoever
does different is considered as not complying with the regulation and therefore
in disobedience. Disobedience has been punished
since the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve,
after a regulation has been already established, they when over it, braking
this way the communion they had with God; by disobeying both parties became
guilty and were punished.
In
Bible times breaking the regulation established (law) was a SERIOUS matter, I’m
sure it had to do with God speaking to Moses the way He did, as well to all the
manifestations HE gave to Moses and his people. But after Moses, Joshua, and with time Judges
were established. Like today, some
judges rule fair, others don’t; some are people pleasers other aren’t. Today some might think the God given Commandments,
started to be “a thing of the past”, so they need “new regulations”, and
working towards that, these had been implemented; not exactly God-given
regulations, but man made; and that’s a biggie! A big problem!
Not
that today laws are not important or a serious matter, but since the society
started to develop new regulations, these new generations, like the ones after
Joshua, do not recognize God as the Creator of all, and the Author of The
Commandments. What they know is what’s
been implemented recently, and due to the large amount of manmade amendments,
people aren’t sure what to think anymore, so they just disregard the regulations
“of old”, and they just to whatever is “right” before their eyes.
Now,
there are some absolutes, that have been established by GOD, since the
beginning of times, and no matter who tries to change those, they are still good
today as they were back then; however some of today’s leaders still are trying
to “modernize” some of those absolutes. Check some of this, please KNOW, that
GOD’s LAW should always remain.
“The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Give the people of
Israel these instructions which apply both to native Israelites and to the
foreigners living in Israel (people of
God, and people who came to live into the land whose manager is The Lord).

If any of them offer their children as a sacrifice to
Molech(false god), they must be put to death…. I myself
will turn against them and cut them off
·
And if the people of the community ignore those who offer
their children to Molech and refuse to execute them, I
myself will turn against them and their families and will cut them off… This will happen to ALL who commit spiritual prostitution by worshiping
Molech (false god/s)
·
I will also turn against those who commit spiritual
prostitution by putting their trust in mediums or in those who consult the
spirits of the dead, I will cut them off from the community.
·
Anyone who dishonors father or mother must be put to death.
·
If a man commits adultery with his neighbor’s wife, both the man
and the woman who have committed adultery must be put to death.
·
If a man violates his father by having sex with one of his
father’s wives, both the man and the woman must be put to death, for they are
guilty
·
If a man has sex with his daughter-in-law, both… are guilty
·
If a man practices homosexuality, having sex with another man as
with a woman, both men have committed a detestable act… both are guilty
·
If a man marries both a woman and her mother… both women must be burned
to death to wipe out such wickedness from among you
·
If a man has sex with an animal, he must be put to death, and the
animal must be killed.
·
If a woman presents herself to a male animal to have intercourse
with it, she and the animal must both be put to death… they are guilty
·
If a man marries his sister, the daughter of either his father or
his mother, and they have sexual relations, it is a shameful disgrace. They
must be publicly cut off from the community… he will be punished for his sin.
·
Do not have sexual relations with your aunt, whether your mother’s
sister or your father’s sister. This would dishonor a close relative. Both
parties are guilty and will be punished for their sin.
·
If a man has sex with his uncle’s wife, he has violated his uncle.
Both the man and woman will be punished… and they will die childless.
·
If a man marries his brother’s wife, it is an act of
impurity….and the guilty couple will remain childless.
·
Men and women among you who act as mediums or who consult the
spirits of the dead must be put to death by stoning…. They are guilty
As we can see here, there are many regulations today, but there are
some ABSOLUTES that DO NOT change. “Do not live according to the customs of
the people I am driving out before you. It is because they do these shameful things that I detest them.”[1]
“So set
yourselves apart to be holy,
for I am the Lord your God. 8 Keep ALL MY decrees
by putting them into practice, for I am
the Lord who makes you holy.”[2] Do
not be fool and follow after leaders who do not have these absolutes in
place; for then destruction will follow you. “You must keep all my decrees and regulations by putting
them into practice; otherwise the
land to which I am bringing you as your new home will vomit you out.”[3] When you go cast your vote on any election,
vote for leaders who devote to follow God’s lead, that will be your best
option; for GOD is worthy to be praised, and therefore follow.
At the end, what else to say?
“You must BE HOLY because I, THE LORD, AM HOLY. I
have set you apart from all
other people to be MY very own.”[4]
I pray you meditate on these today, get to realize that you’ve been set
apart, a generation of people dedicated to be God’s own, and act upon the call
GOD place over you. I also pray when you go to cast your votes on any election, you have a set up mind to vote for those that live by God's standards. And I pray you realize
that you are God’s Masterpiece, so you can act as HIS OWN, from this day and on
for HIS glory I pray, in JESUS name, AMEN!
